1. About Me

    I don’t really find myself all that interesting… but here it goes. My Name is Ashley Sorgea and I am 21 years old, I am headed into my 4th year of college, I am a film Major and attend Columbia College Chicago. I want to be an editor/writer and maybe if i get better at it, a Director in Hollywood… I credit my passion for film and Art to three amazing men, Mr. Derek Alfred, My Art teacher for all four years at Marquette Catholic High School. Joss Weadon, Creator and writer of: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly of the TV fame, and writer/director/producer
    of one of my favorite films Serenity. and The fabulous Tim Burton who every one should know as the creator of some of the strangest, inspiring, and some times heart felt films to date, my favorites of his include Edward Sissorhands, Big Fish, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Sweeny Tood, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and the 1989 Batman.


    I am the oldest of three Children. I have a sister named Amber who likes to annoy the crap out of me. I also have a younger brother named Christian who really dosn’t bug me to much… i think it is because he is a hockey player. I used to swim for the TCAY Tidelwaves, I was a backstroker and distance swimmer my favorite races were the 100 and 200 back, the 500 free and the Mile. My favorite Olympic Swimmers are Natalie Coghlin and Aaron Peirsol… Michel Phelps just kinda freaks me out he is like super man or something… lol.

    I am a Nerd and a Nerdfighter which are basically the same thing just Nerdfighter is more fun to say… lol if you don’t know what a Nerdfighter is i suggest you go on to youtube and watch the Vlogbrothers videos.
    I love to read, write, draw and of course edit videos. I am an expert at drawing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtels which is one of my favorite cartoons. 

    I also love comic books and Spidy and Batman are my fav. Harley Quinn is my all time FAVORITE character. I am really still 5 years old at heart, i still watch cartoons, i still get milk down my shirt when i eat cereal and i can’t ever wear white with out it getting all icky. I LOVE British Slang, I have bought or found on the internet a TON of books, movies, and TV
    shows made in the United Kingdom just to hear the slang. I am a HUGE St. Louis Blues fan. It is ritual for me to go to the Opening day game every year.

    I am always on the computer because i am always either on the internet or editing something or another for practice and youtube, two of which I dye my best friends Hair Pink because he lost a bet. I am a pretty easy going person, i also just realized i am very wordy.
